Keyboard Shortcuts

All shortcuts use Cmd on macOS and Ctrl on Windows/Linux.

Global

These work throughout the app.

Cmd+R	Refresh project data
Cmd+O	Open the project finder
Cmd+T	Toggle dark/light theme
Cmd+,	Open app settings
Cmd+/	Open the workflow guide
Cmd+B	Toggle the sidebar
Cmd+Shift+P	Toggle the live preview dock
Cmd+Shift+C	Open an AI chat in a separate window
Cmd+1 … Cmd+9	Open project 1–9 in your external terminal

Session Rail

Shortcut	Action
/	Focus the project search box in the rail

Type a project name to filter; Cmd+O opens the full project finder.

Board

These work when the kanban board is active and no text input is focused.

Shortcut	Action
Enter	Open the selected card’s detail panel
Cmd+Enter	Start implementing the selected spec
Escape	Close the detail panel, deselect a card, or cancel chain linking
C	Create a new spec (opens an AI chat with /mm:spec)
I	Create a new issue (opens an AI chat with /mm:issue)

Conductor — Ask field

These work while typing in the Conductor’s Ask input.

Shortcut	Action
Enter	Submit the request, or launch the classified result
Shift+Enter	Insert a newline
Escape	Cancel the classification / auto-launch
Arrow Up / Down	Navigate the slash-command drawer (when open)
Enter / Tab	Select the highlighted slash command

Dialogs

Shortcut	Action
Escape	Close any open modal or dialog

Note

On Windows and Linux, replace Cmd with Ctrl for all shortcuts above.

Customization

Keyboard shortcuts are currently not configurable. Custom shortcut mapping may be added in a future release.
